Artist Statement: “Margaret, a Yorktown artist with Tidewater roots, embodies the notion that it's never too late to uncover one's creative potential. Following her retirement as an Operating Room Nurse, she boldly established an art studio and eventually found her calling as a painter. With acrylics as her primary medium, Margaret infuses her work with warmth and energy, celebrating the world around her. By sharing her passion through art events and demonstrations, she motivates others and attributes her accomplishments to her devotion to her faith.”
